if you read up about it it will say eyes can reflect greeny yellowy orange colour but this depends on how long the dog has been in the dark b4 you shine the light, and what colours are in the room when you shine the light as these can reflect in your dogs eyes, as the dogs bounce colour through there eyes twice.

well Hun both dogs were not in the dark at all they were taken in the daylight with the flash on. I can look at them right now and see it with no flashlight. I also have more pictures they all look the same

like i said ALL breeds of dogs reflect green as they have a tapetum only dogs without one will reflect red, so the coat doesnt matter. true what you say about skin but this is about eyes

it says keep dogs in dark for 20 mins then shine a torch light in there eyes and that shows the green reflect colour. i can just see loads of people over the world now searching in draws for a torch and there dogs hideing under the table as they no whats coming lol

just seen your floor in the pics second pic where eyes are orange the floor is same kind of colour. also maybe an orange is a weaker tapetum or something as it says green for full tapetum and red for no tapetum so maybe orange is half way lol

I'm not gonna argue with you. I don't know about other breeds and what you say might be true what I am saying is that in all my years with yorkies green is silk and red/ gold/ orange ic cotton. Tapetum or no tapetum. I am not saying you ae Wrong I'm sure that it has a barring but It happens to indacate what I said also.

i wasnt argueing all i was doing was telling people on here what is a FACT dogs have a tapetum so reflects green we dont so reflects red. some cats reflect orange so maybe its not a fully formed tapetum.

no both pics are of sami who is 21 months I think he looks young because he has floppy ears which they never stood up and his cuts are usualy in a Snuaser cut in the summer , but when it grows out through to winter he has a puppy cut look

he was 21 moths in the 1st picture? if you look at the link I posted here earlier you'll know why I am trying to make my point. Sami is very handsome BTW
