| Please Help Hi All!! So Zoe has been scratching and scratching to the point where he couldn't sleep and woke me up. I checked him for fleas and ticks and the results were negative. I finally felt the area he kept scratching and it turns out that there are a bump on each side of his body. It seems to be some sort of mosquito bite. Its light pink and I just feel a bump. I called the vet and they said it could be but to obviously keep an eye out to see if the bite gets worse. On top of this...Zoe has diarrhea AGAIN. He was only pooping liquid towards the end. I was also told to keep an eye on that of course. My BF will be home most of the day to watch him. Just wanted to see if you guys have experienced this bug bute thing and can it result in diarrhea although I doubt it.

| The vet said to just watch him? One or the other, OK. But both? Come on people is there something that will cause both? Spider or ant bites? I would say give him benadryl for the itching but not without knowing the cause and definately not with diarrhea. I hope he feel better soon!

| I would think the vet would want to see this poor little pup. I would definatly call the vet back and ask for him to see him.

| Does he have an appetite? Can you at least feed him some plain rice for the diarrhea?

| Update I made a vet appt for sunday because my vet is closed saturday. I know...odd schedule. I spoke with them several times today and we have came to the conclusion that I will give him 1/4 tablet of children's benadryl for now to stop his itching and switch his diet to chicken and rice until I go in sunday. I took a look at his itchy area and there are no longer bumps but redness. I'm assuming that its from his scratching it. These have been the changes recently that Ithink may have caused this reaction: 1. he was groomed last Sunday...he started scratching tuesday/wednesday. 2. I started to give him missing link plus (I think this is causing the diarrhea) 3. I started putting cowboy magic detangler on him that may have caused an allergic reaction? I am bringing all of these to the vet on sunday but hopefully he is better by then. I just gave him the benadryl in hopes that he will not itch throughout the night

| Poor little guy. Is it possible he might have picked up mites at the groomer? That wouldn't be causing the diarrhea. It could be the Missing Link - I know on the instructions it says to add small amounts to the food over a period of time until you are at the recommended dosage for the dog's weight. Hope he gets better soon!
