| Lady is getting spayed today I dropped Lady off this morning at the vet to get spayed...I felt so horrible leaving her there....I was crying on the way there, my poor love looked so sweet and had no clue what is in store for her.... I've been a nervous wreck since last night (my poor bf had been so tolerable of me) and I'm sitting at work now with a knot in my stomch worrying about her...I don't know how I'm going to get through this day.... |

| I will be thinking of you, but keep yourself busy and that will help pass the time.

| It's awful, isn't it? But you know what? They are tougher than we think they are. It's only natural to worry and I can't think of a time I didn't dread it. I walk out crying, too! Your little one will be very glad to see you when the time comes. Kacee was wiggling so much when the girl brought her out to me that evening, I just had to laugh a little, but then I started crying again! Tears of joy!

I know exactly how you feel - even though you have complete faith in your vet, you still worry. The worst feeling I had was handing Oscar over to the vet the day of his neuter - I just felt terrible leaving him there (first time away from me) and him not understanding why. I was a big boob about it and I cried there in front of the vet. I felt like such a weiner, but she was so sweet about it. I don't know if your vet generally does these surgeries in the morning, but I would just call around noon and see how she did. I felt much better when I called and heard he was awake and doing well. I also got to bring him home that evening so he was only away from me for the day. I'm sure your baby will be fine! Just give the vet a call to put your mind at ease!

| I know how it is. They look so pitiful and don't understand when you walk away without them. Your baby will be ok. Just keep your little one very quiet tonight and absolutely no running or jumping, although I doubt she will feel like it. Take care and may today fly by for you!

| That is quite a wait, but you don't have any choice. So...count to ten and take a deep breath. I have no other advice. We are at their mercy. They do them all at once, so when he's done and had lunch, then you'll find out that she did just fine. I'm sorry for the wait. I know it's torture.

| You said you are not letting her spend the night. My vets keeps them overnight also to keep and eye on them, But how do they do this if they are closed? Do vets have a night person? Peanut still has a couple months before his neuter and I will not have him stay the night if no one is there to watch him. I feel I can wait him at home. Wishing your Lady well. |
