Lady is getting spayed today I dropped Lady off this morning at the vet to get spayed...I felt so horrible leaving her there....I was crying on the way there, my poor love looked so sweet and had no clue what is in store for her.... I've been a nervous wreck since last night (my poor bf had been so tolerable of me) and I'm sitting at work now with a knot in my stomch worrying about her...I don't know how I'm going to get through this day.... |
aww, I know you cant help but worry.. but she will be fine i'm sure. So many have this done. Kizzy had it the 1st part of August and she did ok. She seemed kinda sore for a day or so but then again I'm just a worryier.let us know when yur vet calls to say all went fine. good luck |
AAAWWW she will be fine...I know the feeling though. We worry about everything because they are our babies. Many blessings to you and your baby. |
I will be thinking of you, but keep yourself busy and that will help pass the time. |
It's awful, isn't it? But you know what? They are tougher than we think they are. It's only natural to worry and I can't think of a time I didn't dread it. I walk out crying, too!:( Your little one will be very glad to see you when the time comes. Kacee was wiggling so much when the girl brought her out to me that evening, I just had to laugh a little, but then I started crying again! Tears of joy!:D |
awww....just think about it, she will be in your arms in no time. hope everything goes well and she heals fast! |
Awh... Cheer up :love-hug3 She'll do just fine and she'll be back in your arms before you know it. My Muffin had hers done last month and was home acting like nothing ever happened. |

I know exactly how you feel - even though you have complete faith in your vet, you still worry. The worst feeling I had was handing Oscar over to the vet the day of his neuter - I just felt terrible leaving him there (first time away from me) and him not understanding why. I was a big boob about it and I cried there in front of the vet. I felt like such a weiner, but she was so sweet about it. I don't know if your vet generally does these surgeries in the morning, but I would just call around noon and see how she did. I felt much better when I called and heard he was awake and doing well. I also got to bring him home that evening so he was only away from me for the day. I'm sure your baby will be fine! Just give the vet a call to put your mind at ease! |
Thank you all....I'm at work now and is kinda busy here...but its not keeping my mind off Lady.....They told me I could pick her up at 4 today, since I won't be letting her stay overnight like they recommeded to me....I'm going to call the vet at 11:30 and see how things are...they told me to call at 2:30, yeah sure I'm going to wait that long worrying about her....they are all going to love me over there today....lol....I hate this feeling...I just keep looking at the clock....I miss her already...and this is the first time shes ever been away from home without me....my poor love.... |
I know how it is. They look so pitiful and don't understand when you walk away without them. Your baby will be ok. Just keep your little one very quiet tonight and absolutely no running or jumping, although I doubt she will feel like it. Take care and may today fly by for you!:) |
she'll be back in your arms before you know it! |
I just called the vet....they can't give me any information until 2:30 when the Dr. is done with all the surgeries.....thats not right...I'm just called to see if shes still waiting or if they did it yet....now i'm freaking out...i just want to know something....how can I sit here and wait until 2:30  |
That is quite a wait, but you don't have any choice. So...count to ten and take a deep breath. I have no other advice. We are at their mercy.:( They do them all at once, so when he\'s done and had lunch, then you\'ll find out that she did just fine. I\'m sorry for the wait. I know it\'s torture. |
You said you are not letting her spend the night. My vets keeps them overnight also to keep and eye on them, But how do they do this if they are closed? Do vets have a night person? Peanut still has a couple months before his neuter and I will not have him stay the night if no one is there to watch him. I feel I can wait him at home. Wishing your Lady well. |
