There will be no one there to watch her overnight..they tryed to convince me that I sould let her stay but, if no one is going to be there and something happens then what... I rather her be home with me tonight so I can keep an eye on her myself....I'm sure its going to be a sleepless night but at least I'll know she'll be ok.... 2 1/2 more hours to go before I can find out how shes doing :(

I agree with you 100% you will feel much better having her with you than there all alone. I will be doing the same thing weather they like it our not. It has to be scary to be there by themself without mom. Keep us posted.

30 minutes to go till I find out how Lady made out...oh I'm so nervous, the knot in my stomach is getting worse and the clock is moving so slow

Amy, I am sure she will be fine. Yes, your right to bring her home as long
as there are no after effects from surgery. Better with you than alone.

I just got off the phone with the vet...everything went fine all routine...I feel a lot better and I know I'm in for the long haul with her tonight...but at least she'll be with me and not alone somewhere unfamiliar....I'm leaving work at 3 and picking her up at 4..I'll try to post and update tonight if i'm able to get to the computer otherwise I'll post an update tomorrow since we have to go back to the vet for a check up, since shes not staying over night...thank you again everyone for all your kind words and support....you all really helped me get through my day.....

I hope you hear soon that all is well! It is so scary and hard to have our babies go through this, but they seem to perk up quickly after surgery! It's a good thing you're busy at work...helps the time go by quicker.

I'm glad you're getting her back today! She will feel so much better being back with you!

Glad she did ok. I just remembered when I went in the office to pay for Kacee being spayed and to pick her up. When they brought her out, she started wiggling (as I said earlier) and I can still remember I said, "Oh, honey!" and I just dissolved into tears! I couldn't say anything else, so we left.:D

Shes home....I am so happy.....as soon as she saw me I got kisses...shes resting in her crate now....she seems very tired but not out of it....I'm glad shes home with me now....

I'm glad everything went well & she is home with you. I to insisted on bringing Misha home, I'm so happy I did. Piper gets spayed the end of this month & the new vet we have want's to keep her, so I have to go through all this again.

I'm relieved that shes home with me...right now shes resting in her crate next me....my vet tried to convince me to let her stay overnight...but I was not having it and the funny thing was that when I went to pick her up and was talking with the tech, she told me she was glad that I was bringing her home and wished they had more clients like me who were really concerned about there dogs....She knew I wasn't just taking her home to be selfish she realized my concern for lady. its so ironic how things turn out in the end

update
 
Last night went really well...Lady rested all night in her crate next to me...I caught her licking so now she has the onsie on...She ate all her breakfast and seems to be feeling a lot better...I;m taking her to the vet at 10 this morning so the DR can examine her stiches....I am very happy that yesterday is now over...what a long day it was...
