| I have never seen an all-black yorkie, but I have seen black yorkie-poos. I'd ask to see the parents. Congratulations on your new baby! |

| I saw the parents. The momma and daddy both have the markings. There are like 4 big fenced in yards (he has a lot of acreage), 3 have only yorkies and then one has two pomeranians. None of the dogs can get to the other yards. Thanks on the congrats....I can't wait to get her. I am gonna go ahead and go with the girl. My brother has a little yorkie, like 4-5 lbs, she is probably 4-5 yrs old and she is great around kiddos and is very affectionate. She is his little girl. He said he would never have kids that she was my mom's only grandchild from him. I loved her tempermant so much that is what made me want a yorkie. He told me to kiss her on the nose all the time when she is growing up so she won't be afraid to get close to people. Now my fiance's mother has a yorkie and she has snapped at my daugther a lot which really aggravates me because she doesn't do anything about it but that is another story. | Nope all dogs are not kept outside...he has several buildings as well. I have a correction too on the age of the yorkies, they are 5 weeks right now. I guess that means they might have a better chance of developing the markings? |

Is the puppy totally black or is it bluish? It's not a blue-born, is it? | |

| No, there is no blue tint to it. Just the white hind paws. |

| Well maybe they just look bigger to me in the picture...sorry, it is hard to judge size from a view like that unless you see them in person. I wasn't trying to be a smart elleck...the puppies do look that size, they are just now five weeks. I guess I meant to "clarify" that the ones I saw had just started being able to climb out of the little bed he has them in with the mamma. The 6 week old in the picture looks really spry. These are still really small. I did however, if you read my other posts make a mistake on the ages right now, I had been saying they were 10 weeks when in fact they are actually 5 weeks. That is why I was so confused by the pictures and the size. Take a look at that post again Last edited by kellyntx; 09-12-2006 at 04:01 AM. |

| I have heard of the all black but have not seen one. They can also be born all gold with no black. I'd be 99.999% sure that they will never have the gold on them. I too would love to see pictures once you pick one! Preference on male/female is just a personal choice. Both sexes can be sweet and/or overly rambunctious (sp?). |
