| ![]() I agree with everyone here.. you should wait. I know it's SO hard to not start buying stuff for your baby! My maggie is about 5 pounds right now, but she's pretty long... about 15 inches. You never know how your baby will grow! I WILL suggest, however, you order a harness from someone on here. Shana has some great homemade harnesses and Maggie likes them better than her store bought ones because they're more comfortable... plus, she can line them with satin for you so it helps with the matting. ![]()

| ![]() I sure suggest not buying a lot of clothes when your puppy is still litte - because he'll outgrow them so fast your head will spin. But - still you need a few - because they are so cute! PLUS - like everyone says - there really is no guarantee what size, shape, or weight they'll be a year later. Carol Jean |

| ![]() My Charley is 4.5 lbs and he is 10 months old. I bought him a x-small harness at wal-mart when he was 10 weeks old and 1.5 lbs. I have been able to adjust it as he grew. The cost was less than $4.00. Most of his cloths are x-small and small depending on the way they were made. Good luck with your new baby. |

| ![]() Thank you everyone for the great info and for starting this thread. I too haven't gotten my baby yet but would love to start buying stuff early.

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | ![]() Well for starters, Stedman is 4lbs and wears an XS (except for the occasional size S, because some things just run different...I think out of the over 20 outfits that he has, only 2 of them are size S). But he has a really tiny build. He doesn't even look like he weighs 4lbs. My friend has a Yorkie that weighs 4lbs and it looks MUCH bigger than Stedman does. Anyway, if I were you, I too would wait until you get your baby home. You really need to measure them...chest, waist, neck, leg length, body length, etc. to be 100% accurate and make sure you get the right size. They don't always weigh what the breeder predicts them to weigh either. Sometimes they end up being smaller, sometimes bigger...ya just never know ![]()
