WOW! I am so glad my baby was spayed before I picked her up. I will keep you guys and them in my thoughts. I have to ask however you said your vet was going to give a lyme vaccination.?? I called my breeder as I checked my contract and I did not have anything in it about that! So she explained to me unless I have her around ticks! Then I do not need one ever!!! She also told she would be very upset with me if I gave her one... Better not upset her incase I want to buy another... Which I am thinking of doing!

| What about stitches? I've heard some say that their babies had internal stitches... why wouldn't everyone have internal & external stitches? Or what else do they use on the outside???? Like that invisible glue stuff? No seriously... my Mia is getting spayed tomorrow, but I want to make sure they do what's best for her - not just what they want to do. Like the cone issue I brought up the other day. That's pretty much standard for them (our vets office) and I really don't want it unless it's the last recourse. I think it'll bother Mia right off the bat, and how is a baby to sleep with that thing on? ugh!

| I asked my vet before I got Summer spayed what type of stiches they use bc I wanted the ones that have to remove and they told me thats the ones they always use unless its like a wild animal or something. They don't like to use the dissolvible ones. I haven't put anything on Summer to keep her from licking herself she hasn't really licked at all. When she does I just make her stop but she just started doing that the other day like Monday probably. I would think they would ok without anything unless it seems like its bothering them or they are licking it alot.
