| I'm glad you said what you did because next time maybe something bad would happen and maybe she learned from this comment from you.

It's sad, Some ppl do not care enough about there child then to leave it in the car. Let alone there dog, they may leave the car running BUT if the child or dog push it out of gear oh me oh my. Some ppl don't have a brain God gave goose.

I always get so mad when I see people leaving pets in cars when it's hot!! Back in mid-summer, I saw two little dogs in a car at the grocery store when I went in. When I came out, they were still in there and I was in the store for 20-30 min.! I was so mad because it was VERY hot that day! The dogs were panting and looked so miserable so I went in and had the manager page the owner. I don't know if people can be fined for that, but I think they should! It really makes me mad!!!

The same thing happened to me - only it was two kids (about 3 and 5) at Target left in the car (only for a few minutes, of course). To give the Mom something to think about I asked her if she would leave her diamond ring on the car seat unattended even for a few minutes - She wasn't happy with me judging her for leaving the kids alone - I got the finger and a verbal explanation to go along with it! Oh well, maybe she'll think about it next time. WASHINGTON, July 10, 1997 -- Never leave your child in the car, even with the windows down. When the outside temperature is 83 degrees Fahrenheit, and your window is down two inches, the temperature inside your car can reach 109 degrees Fahrenheit in 15 minutes. The color of your car's interior can make a difference. For instance, the following chart represents colors of car interiors. If the outside temperature is 79 degrees Fahrenheit, the inside car temperature can soar to extreme levels. Interior Color Potential Temperature WHITE 135 degrees Fahrenheit RED 154 degrees Fahrenheit BLUE/GREEN 165 degrees Fahrenheit BLACK 192 degrees Fahrenheit Make sure to check the temperature of the car seat before buckling your children in the car. Skin that touches a car seat surface over 150 degrees Fahrenheit can be severely burned in 1 second.

Hey. Just wanted to post a suggestion to those yorkie moms and dads who love to bring their babies with them... but can't always bring them in when they are running in and out of stores! Layla LOVES to come in the car... it puts her to sleep.. but i can't always bring her in with me when i am running into the bank or whatever and there is no way i am leaving her in the car in this crazy heat... so here is what i did. i made a copy of my car key and i leave the car running (my dad would kill me if he knew!) i lock the doors.. keep the A/C on and run in with my other key. That way layla is comfy in the car and i can still bring her with me! plus.. whatever gas i am wasting for the 10 minutes i am in somewhere.. is well worth it to bring my baby with me
