| I loved my black Lab like I love Stewie. I just never had a forum like this to gush on. Hang on... let me close Stew's ears... She was just so much smarter than him, even when she was his age. She flunked out of seeing-eye dog school because she was too friendly and was sent to the pound. My dad rescued her. She could make basketball hoops like Air Bud and knew at least 50 tricks. I'm not exadurating with that number either. She used to follow my baby cousin around when he was learning to walk and would put her nose under his butt to catch him when he would stumble. SUCH a personality. I am working with Stewie, but I dont have the $ to get a pro right now. He is much more cuddly, but I think it definitely has to do with the size and also because I let him all the time since he doesn't shed and she shed like a monster. Poor Minnie. RIP Ok, Stewie's ears are open again. I love him more than anyone or anything right now. I don't know what I would do if anything ever happened to him. I would be a complete wreck. He just cuddled up to me right now He must have read what I was writing about the Lab

| My bro. and his wife have a Maltese, and he is spoiled rotten. I just got my Yorkie, and think of her as a little girl. I put berets in her hair, and love to bathe her. My friend in NY hurt my feelings when I sent a joint email to all of my friends, rather than typing them over and over. I told everyone how my life has changed, and how much I love this little dog in just the two short days that I have known her. She wrote back and said, "Congratulations on your new pet. I think you have gone overboard. A dog in my bed, no thanks". Wow, I could not believe it as I have never seen this side of her. Oh well, diff. strokes for diff. folks I guess. Kate Quote:

| Yup - I think once "dog people" find their breed, that is IT for them. My brothers and sisters ALL have something different (I have 4 - 2 brothers, 2 sisters) One sister is into Westies, she has EVERYTHING Westie and is learning how to breed. My brother is into Poms and one of his had her first litter a couple of months ago (sadly, only one survived ), my other brother loves his mutts, he keeps offering me insane amounts of money for Sandy! -- my other sister loves her simease cats! My parents WERE Yorkie people, but switched to Lhasos after they retired. And I am carrying on the Yorkie tradition and hope to be the first in our family to show dogs

| I've had a miniature schnauzer in the past and a Shih Tzu and was never this way. Never carried pics of them, never talked about them all the time, never was addicted to website about the breed. I would say there is something about yorkies. |

| I have had many breeds before. But none have stollen my heart like the Yorkie does. I would never of put any other breed on the same level of my children before until I got my Yorkie. My Yorkie is right up there with them she is one of my babies! |

| I have had Asia a little over a month now. I was talking with a friend of mine yesterday and I asked her "Have I talked about anything other than Asia since I got her?" She said no. Good thing she loves Asia to. Her husband is scared that now she wants one. They already have 2 dogs. (Chow and Pom.) And yes.... We are crazy! Crazy in love. |

| Just like the continent. Years ago I watched a show where the girl was named Asia. I always liked it and was going to name my kid that. But I never had children so my dog is my baby now. |
