| I agree, LP can be caused by trauma. That is exactly what happened with my maltese. But the trauma is something that is hard to miss. He would definitely not be displaying the "classic" signs of LP. Running along, hops when it slips and then is fine a minute later. My maltese's trauma was actually minimal which lead us all to believe that the integrity of the knee was not good at all. This caused him severe pain - I cannot imagine the amount of pain that would occur from trauma to a stable joint. |

| Reggies Mom, My sister has a yorkie from this breeder and just today got a second one from her that she shipped here from Texas. I also have two yorkies that did not come from this woman. I have problems with this woman not letting you see the parents. She ALWAYS has puppies available and my sister just bought a girl from her that she calls a teacup. She is unbelievably tiny and I warned my sister against getting her. I will warn her to have this fully checked when she takes her for the vet check. I read her guarantee and it does say "There is also a one year replacement guarantee on any hereditary problem". I would not want to return my puppy, but I would ask for some amount of a refund to cover the vet bills. But that's just me. Kathy
