| will trimming his hair help it grow? Hi everyone! I've been reading many posts about grooming, but I don't think I found an answer to my question. Oakley's 1st birthday is coming up and I still haven't taken him to the groomers because I want to grow out his hair. I bathe him once a week (he spends alot of time outdoors) and I brush him out daily. Is it bad if I do not trim his hair? I do trim his nails, ears and butt, but otherwise have not cut the rest of his body. I want his hair to grow out but is not trimming a bad idea? I'd appreciate any input. Thanks! |

| Misha our maltese, has been getting groomed since she was 4 months. Her hair has been floor lenght since she was 7 months. I think their hair are so close to human hair that it breaks the same. Thus getting the ends trimmed keeps it from splitting, so it grows longer faster. Just my opinion. |
