Hi everyone!

I've been reading many posts about grooming, but I don't think I found an answer to my question.

Oakley's 1st birthday is coming up and I still haven't taken him to the groomers because I want to grow out his hair. I bathe him once a week (he spends alot of time outdoors) and I brush him out daily. Is it bad if I do not trim his hair? I do trim his nails, ears and butt, but otherwise have not cut the rest of his body. I want his hair to grow out but is not trimming a bad idea?

I'd appreciate any input.
