I've never cut Chanels hair on the top of her head - a groomer went nuts once but she at least left that alone - It takes a while for some yorkies to grow their hair to full length - but just keep practicing and you'll find a way that works for you..With my 10 month old Cheri - I try to place her bows more in the front to keep that shorter hair out of her eyes - I found that barrettes don't hold her hair in very long cause they're always playing - so I stick with bows...Pet Edge has little bows with great elastics that just don't break... With Chanel and her long hair - I place her bow further back on her head ..Does this help at all ? | |

| ![]() Your Yorkie looks identical to mine. I will post some pics, but right now I just have not had the time. Too busy buying food, toy, etc. for my new baby. This is like having a kid. Today I had my hair cut, and my hairdresser gave me some tiny rubber bands for her topknot. I have not been able to find them. She said she gets them from petstores, as they tie the fish they sell in those tiny plastic bags with these ties. Anyway, I got there and discovered I forgot to wear earrings. LOL Too busy getting Sadie out to potty, etc., before I left. Thanks. Kate Quote:

| ![]() Yes, a big help thanks. Sadie is 3 years old. I got her a week ago today from a breeder who retired her as she had a tough time with the last 5 pups she delivered. She is a doll. Totally housebroken, has only barked three short barks in one week, sweet natured, and the love of my life. A Yorkie lover forever. Kate Quote:
