Tiger was my first dog in a very long time and so I wasn't picky . . . . just one look at him and we all fell in love. I was in a hurry too and just wanted one so badly . . . and since YT did not exist to me then, I jumped right into it. He is 1/16th s**tzu and the rest of him is pure yorkie. 4 months later and exposed to YT, I got my second one - this time a purebred with CH bloodlines:D But I have no regrets with Tiger . . . .he got me through a very rough time in my life and he is the most wonderful doggie :p

I have a Morkie - Maltese (mother) and Yorkshire Terrier (father). He is the sweetest, most adorable little pup ever. He is bright and intelligent and learns things very quickly. I know people have slammed others for purchasing a 'designer breed', but this is the size of dog I really wanted. There were none at the shelters and I was fortunate enough to find a breeder in our province.

I think sophie is pregnant but Im not sure. I got her a week ago and the people failed to mention she was in heat and my chihuahua got her. She wasnt bleeding at all that I could see and i didnt look at her coochie until after and sure as heck its swollen. nice.

so what the heck are yorkie chihuahuas called???

look at the AMERICAN HYBRID CLUB. they have names of all the approved hybrids.

They are called Chorkies and to be honest I almost tried for a litter (don't slam me!!!) You can do a search on Chorkie and see how adorable they are. I actually have people emailing me requesting them!

chorkies??? thats an ugly name though. I would think like yorkichi is much cuter

He's awesome. Chi's are so cool. That's why I chose Yorkies and Chi's as my choice of pets. Well throw in my Pug Lexie Lynne :)

Yeah you never know what your going to get, MY Chi Zoey is cream and she had a black/tan, Choc Merle, Chocolate, and a cream like her.

My girls are mixed - I'm told with beagle but they are rescues out of Kentucky so who really knows. Roxy is just over 3 lbs so it must have been a tiny beagle - and I'm happy to say they do not have any of the beagle shortcomings (sep anxiety, running, hyperactivity etc...)

Taffy mother was a registered papillion and daddy was a full blood register yorkie.
And I love her to death. Taffy took after the yorkie except she has a permament puppy hair cute. She just turned 2 yrs.:p

Lily's eight weeks old and is poodle/yorkie mix and absoulty adoreable. pics when the film comes back. Looks like both right down the middle.

I was waiting for a litter of yorkies and the breeder called me and said that an "accident" happened. Her sister visited with her bichon (male) and he fell in love with Angel (yorkie). She promised me the first pick of the next litter but I wanted to see the puppies anyway. One of them (out of 3) came to me and never left my side. So I guess - HE adopted me ! I called him Corky (Yorkie) and I love him to pieces. When I brought Piccolo home, Corky was very happy to have a little guy to play with. I keep telling him he is #1 so he won't get jelous. Piccolo is a holly terror and and really abuses Corky but my #1 is very patient with him and never hurts him. I can watch them for hours when they play...

A friend of mine has a shorkie and it is one of the most adorable dogs I've ever seen. I wish I had a pic!

I had really wanted a mix... I thought they were really adorable but then reading what I've read on YT, I have second thoughts...

They are all still sooooooo adorable!!!
