| Coughing Yorkie????? Hi Everyone, My 8 month old yorkie Molly has been coughing lately and I know it is not from her collar choking her cause I use a harness on her. Could her coughing be kennel cough??? Is this something that I should be worried about? She doesn't do it all the time just once in a while. Please let me know what you all think it could be. | hi, every once is a while Joey will do this also. It seems like it is after he has eaten alot or been running around. Does your baby cough during these times? Or is it more during a resting time? |

| I'd take her to the vet just to be sure since there are several things it could be. She could have caught comething that your vet could treat, it could be reverse sneezing, or collapsed trachea or ? I'm sure its nothing to worry about but I'd have the vet take a look.

| James has been coughing for a couple days but today is worse than normal. He does it after drinking or playing and resting so we are bringing him to the vet just to make sure everything is ok, I will let you know

| Tonsillitis is something else to watch for. They don't stop coughing when they have that though. This is something that is sometimes brought on by prolonged cold air, such as air conditioning or hanging their heads out of car windows when the temperature is too cool. They can also get upper respiratory infections, too. It can also just be allergies, especially this time of year. A little benedryl will usually take care of that.
