Bitsy had a check up this morning and everything looks A-OK!

She trembled when we walked into the vets office though and she laid her head right under my chin and softly cried

I think she thought I was going to leave her like I had to do for both ER visits last week. Poor little thing was shaking like a leaf.

The vet (our new vet) asked me if she was always this good because she didn't move a muscle when he took her temp. I told him how she was like that anytime you do anything to her. She is SO well behaved! He loved her little onesie and commented on how spoiled she is...but in a nice way

They also said that the pups are ready to start eating out of a dish but said it's very messy. Nothing can be messier than the mess we make feeding them from a syringe! I'm going to try it in just a few minutes for their lunch! I need a feeding trough LOL! I'll try to take a picture and post it!

Aww, Bitsy sounds like such a precious girl. I'm glad her vet visit went well.

And those puppies - you are making me want to come and see them

I hope they are having fun with their dishes!

Im so happy Bitsy vet's visit went well. Bitsy and the pups are so cute. I wish I live close by to go and see the pups.

It's so good to read Bitsy is doing so much better. I can read in your update how much better you are doing also. It's amazing how a person can sound so upbeat in a letter. I am so happy for all of you. Sounds like you are doing a great job. Bitsy & the babies are very lucky to have you.

These little ones are just precious. It must be soo much fun to have all those puppies and see them grow!!

Thank you all! I am in much better spirits and am able to relax my thinking and aren't so uptight with worry!

Here is a quick picture I took of the pups eating from a saucer for the first time at lunch today! It was a total MESS! We did it again for supper and they got so drenched in the puppy food they were licking it off each other. Too cute

The tiny ones got chilled though so I'm not sure it's a good idea just yet. We have a heater in our bedroom and it stays really warm but they were shaking and I'm scared for them to get chilled

Maybe I should wait a few more days. The bigger ones do better at it.

Here is the pic. I'm having second thoughts about using pee pee pads as a place mat. They might get the wrong idea and I guess it could cause problems later. I have some plastic real placemats that I"m gonna use next time

I gotta take a shower. I dirty!

Bitsy's pup look so adorable eating. I can only imagine how messy can be to feed the little ones. Probably a palstic mat is better that using the wee wee pads. I have never handle newborns so is only a suggestion. Good luck.
