Here is a quick picture I took of the pups eating from a saucer for the first time at lunch today! It was a total MESS! We did it again for supper and they got so drenched in the puppy food they were licking it off each other. Too cute  The tiny ones got chilled though so I'm not sure it's a good idea just yet. We have a heater in our bedroom and it stays really warm but they were shaking and I'm scared for them to get chilled  Maybe I should wait a few more days. The bigger ones do better at it.
Here is the pic. I'm having second thoughts about using pee pee pads as a place mat. They might get the wrong idea and I guess it could cause problems later. I have some plastic real placemats that I"m gonna use next time

Bitsy's pup look so adorable eating. I can only imagine how messy can be to feed the little ones. Probably a palstic mat is better that using the wee wee pads. I have never handle newborns so is only a suggestion. Good luck.
