| Oh brother, first it was his ears and now it is his eye. We just got his ear infection cleared up, it has been a week since we went to the vet, and now his darn right eye is swollen almost shut. I woke up this morning to his looking like a pirate... ARG I have no idea what happened. I know last year I accidently poked him in the eye and it did this then. So I am thinking it my be the same type of things. And I *think* I may have some eyedrops left from the first time. This is a fiasco waiting to happen, ear drops AND eye drops, he is not going to be happy. And on top of that--- he threw up this morning all over my nice duvet/down comforter. Throwing up in not uncommon for him...he's a puker... its the cleaning up after it that I am complaining about. Sheesh! What a way to start the day. |

| Maybe he's going to get it all over with before winter and you'll have a solid six months of good health! I sure hope his eye will be ok though. That's kind of worrisome.

| Thanks guys! I can't find the eye drops... ... BUT I did find an empty bag of sour skittles he must have pulled out of the garbage. When the bag was thrown away the bottom was full of the sour sugar stuff, and now it is totally clean (licked clean by the looks of it ) I think he may have gotten that sour sugary stuff in his eyes (by the way the are both swollen, just one is worse then the other). I called the vet, they told us to flush them out with water, and observe him through out the day, and if they are still swollen tomorrow, we get to go back to the vet. Yipeee! I really hope he just got stuff in them, and that the swelling will go down. I feel SOOOOO bad for him! |
