Name those sizes! I know we aren't supposed to use terms like "teacup" and such but if you could sort Yorkies by sizes what sizes would you group together? I know we have jokingly used "teapot" and "mug" but what sizes would you group them as? My Pirogue would be a "teapot" I suppose as he is 11#. What would you call one of those 23# Yorkies? See my question? If Yorkies range from 23# down to below 2# how would you group them? A lot of people are grouping them like Poodles but I don't think that will fit with Yorkies cause no matter what you do sooner or later you will end up with a teenytiny one or a throwback. I saw a puppy the other day for sale actually refered to as "teaspoon". She doesn't look like she will reach 2#, if I had to use a term for her I would say "teaspoon" would fit. Sylvia

In our standard - I do not think they will ever rank them as they have for poodles, But... for the 23# - how about "Jug"

What about grouping them as fruit names?? Like the 23# would be Watermelon, and the tiny "teaspoon" could be grape! Mine will be about 3.5 full grown...I would call them tangerines. Others could be apple, orange, and grapefruit! hehehe

LOL Oh, I like the fruit idea! But what I was wondering was what weights would you put together for the sizes? Like say, 15 to 25# would be the watermelon. 10- 15# would be the canteloupe. 7-10# would be a grapefruit. And so on, what do you think?

| I just want yall to see this: Look how much Kacee and Kizzy look alike when I got them both. And they came from miles and miles apart. I was noticing it tonight and couldnt believe it. But Kacees ears are up and kizzys werent up for a few more weeks when I got her. If I only had the same pose.
