Help me with the Pros and Cons?

LMAO, i'm trying anyway. plus I am scared of horses but I didnt complain because i really love looking at them.

I hear ya!!!!!!!!! Well its okay to give it a rest for a while, but don't give up. I didn't with Baby and she is so happy!!!!!!!! Kizzy will go bananas with happiness when she gets a playmate as will you!!

Great thread! I logged on to research this very topic. I am considering getting another yorkiepoo and wanted to know the pros and cons as well. I know many of you have more than one pup. So, I wanted to know others experiences with having more than one pooch. I didnt want to just jump into it only to regret it later. My pup will be one in October. I am considering getting another one in September.

BTW, I've had to convince hubby as well. At first, he wasnt sold on my "idea", but he's coming around. I told him to think it out first before he says he's ok with it because it's going to be more work for both of us. (The reality is that most of it falls on me. But, I want him to realize what he's getting into as well!)

I'll keep my eye on this thread to hear others responses as well.

Mine are a year apart. Max was a living with us for a year before we got Abbie so he was extremely upset when we brought her into 'his' living space. I became upset after a week of seeing Max in that state because I wasn't sure how long it was going to take for him to warm up to her (Max was my first dog so I wasn't sure what to expect). After the first week I began to worry that we made a mistake in getting Abbie because he was not letting up...he'd fight with her, steal toys, push her out of the way if we were playing with her. We were still showing Max attention but he was jealous ALL THE TIME. He also regressed re: housebreaking. He was doing so well and when we brought her home, he started peeing and pooping all over the place. He even peed on MY bed, which is the bed he slept on. This became a regular habit for him after Abbie came home I had to go back to housebreaking 101 with him so it was A LOT of work. It all worked out in the end...they started getting along after a few weeks and they both seem to be house broken (it's only been about 1 yr and a half later ). Even though it was so much extra work having 2, it's so worth it
