| I have a color question I read somewhere that puppies with gold/black coats will turn white sometimes on their head and face and even their back will have long white roots. But over time the white turns a pretty blonde. Does anyone know the truth about this? Kizzy has lots of white on her head and roots about an inch or so white roots on the black on her body. Wondering if this is suppose to eventually turn to a more blonde look. the parents I was shown were blonde mixed with some white and black or bluish color almost all over but more blonde than anything else . Which made them show up more blonde than anything else. Just wondering if its possible if these were here parents for her to still turn out the silver color. But she has lots of blonde hair mixed with her white too on her legs and chest and face. her back is black with the white roots.

| I'm no expert. My only experience is with our Oliver. He was jet black as a baby, breeder listed as blue/gold (based on parents). Golden color came in around face legs, and to our surprise, white or grayish hairs on head and back, a few months later. The grays were there for a while. People thought he was an old dog. I used to get upset. They didn't believe he was a puppy. But, Now he's 1 1/2, almost all of the grays turned goldnen blonde, just a few left. And, I actually love his coloring now. All along I was getting mixed opinions about what his coloring would be. I guess you just have to wait and see.

| I don't know, but I should be able to testify in person about Kacee one day, but it is still too soon.
