I'm no expert. My only experience is with our Oliver. He was jet black as a baby, breeder listed as blue/gold (based on parents). Golden color came in around face legs, and to our surprise, white or grayish hairs on head and back, a few months later. The grays were there for a while. People thought he was an old dog. I used to get upset. They didn't believe he was a puppy. But, Now he's 1 1/2, almost all of the grays turned goldnen blonde, just a few left. And, I actually love his coloring now. All along I was getting mixed opinions about what his coloring would be. I guess you just have to wait and see.
