I know how you must feel though, and I WOULDN'T recommend you bringing your furbaby (OR your son!!) around Alice again if thats the way she is. Some dogs just have that type of terperament and it is really sad

I am so glad to hear that your little one is ok though. That is GREAT news!!!

You've had plenty of input, but thought I'd add mine. I've never had a dachshund, but over the years I've had at least a dozen friends who have had miniature dachshunds. Some of them were a bit worse at barking at everything than I would have liked, but every one of them were extremely sweet and affectionate pets.
