Your poor little guy!! I can just see him trying to stick his little tongue out to lick you! What a sweet I wish I could give him a great big hug!! I know how you must feel though, and I WOULDN'T recommend you bringing your furbaby (OR your son!!) around Alice again if thats the way she is. Some dogs just have that type of terperament and it is really sad I am so glad to hear that your little one is ok though. That is GREAT news!!!

| Here are a couple of pics of 2 daschunds that I met on a visit to a donkey sanctuary. They were very sweet and loving, but they did bark alot |

| You've had plenty of input, but thought I'd add mine. I've never had a dachshund, but over the years I've had at least a dozen friends who have had miniature dachshunds. Some of them were a bit worse at barking at everything than I would have liked, but every one of them were extremely sweet and affectionate pets. |

I have a weenie-rat (half min. weenie and half min. rat terrier) she is black and tan. Her name is Harley. She looks just like a weenie dog and she doesn't weigh more than 5.5 lbs. I am a new Yorkie mom-Whiskey is 14 weeks old. Anyway Harley is very smart and very affectionate towards my two daughters plus she is helping me train Whiskey sleep all night in her pet taxi without howling like a coon dog. We all love her to pieces and we rescued her and all her littermates from certain death. The man we got them from was going to throw them off the bridge because his neighbor's dog "violated" his min. daschund and he didn't believe in mutts!!! I was livid!!! So my mom has Ruby and my Aunt has Little Bit and love them to pieces. Sorry so long...my hubby says i just love to ramble. | |
