Well the only thing that hurts both me and Gus is leaving him home. I take him everywhere. But there are some very rare times that it's just not possible to take him along. Poor guy get so excited once he sees me getting ready. He sees me putting on my shoes and grab the key and he's running circles waiting for me to open his carrier. But when he sees me closing the baby gates his little face will look so pitiful. I don't know who it hurts more, me or him. Sometimes he will make a run for the van and jump in as if to say,,,,, "your not leaving me here!" that just kills me because I have to get him out and bring him in the house. But looking at that sad little face gets to me. That's when I say forget it, lets go. He's such a good boy that 8 out of 10 times people don't even know he's there. I've taken him to doctors appointments, church, and nice restaurants.
