They stole his.... Yup my babies did it! They stole my brothers heart! My brother is not a pet lover, never has been. Well this is how it all began..... I just got my babies... Timmy on 5/5/06 and Mimi on 6/2/06 a week later my brother calls me and says oh I heard you got another dog (my mom told him) I was like yup, I sure did. I couldn't resist getting another baby. Well my brother was like, if you decide to mate her don't even think about giving his kids a puppy. I was like you are so mean..how can I say NO to my neice and nephew. They love animals but cannot have one because of my brother. He thinks they are dirty. Can I tell you this all changed!!! My brother came to my house last weekend with my sister in law and the kids. My sister in law, my neice and nephew fell in LOVE with my babies. I felt so bad because my neice was like Mommy, Daddy I want a puppy. My brother lifted his nose up and looked at me. I told my brother...you know I am not going to say NO. Well after a short time I caught my brother playing with them. I just left it at that. The following day he calls me and tells me how his wife and daughter are driving him crazy because they want a dog. I said well you have a nice BIG newly built house, enough room for a baby...lol and white carpet all over...lol he started laughing. Today my brother comes by...he is a detective so he makes his rounds around my home just to check up on me and make sure everything is okay..not that I am a little girl...geeessh I have 2 boys one 16 and the other 10 yrs old. I still love him for being over protective..I'm his little sister! Well like I was saying he came by and as soon as he came inside my babies were on him and he was actually playing and picking them up...I've never seen my brother pick a animal up in my life. As soon as he left I called my sister in law...I said you are getting closer...lol She started laughing and told me that my brother was talking about my babies the other day. She said he said he wouldn't mind having a puppy if I ever mate her. Wooo Hooo! Can you believe a Yorkie stole someone's elses heart?!?!?!?!? Okay this was a long story....wooooo It's past my bedtime. Oh wait a minute...he also asked me what would ever happen if I could never take care of them...would they have to go together? I said of course they would..I could not seperate them. He made such a cute comment... Oh I'm sure we can take them. I just don't know what it is...my mom was never a pet lover either and she just loves my babies. Oh I do know...they are Yorkies! Good night all!

That's what they do! Your brother should investigate this severe theft ! Thanks for sharing this story. I always love to hear positive things and I told my husband if I ever would have a lot of money I would found a 'Good News Channel'.

The story of your brother reminds me of me. I was not an animal lover. Growing up we always had at least 4 huge, very smelly dogs. I always hated it when it was my turn to feed them. I have a son who kept begging for a dog. I told him he could not have one until he was 10 years old. One weekend we babysat a beagle at our house, and when our friend came and picked it up, my son sat in the driveway crying for the dog. So I told him he could have a dog for his 9th birthday, but that it would have to be a small dog. We did all kinds of research, and the Toy Yorkie seemed like the best best to me. We went to a breeder I found and I let John pick out the puppy he wanted. Literally, from the second that baby got in our car I was hooked. I cannot believe how much I love this precious little animal. He is just like a baby to me. I can't imagine life without him. Having Minoot has taught me a huge lesson. Love no matter what. Our baby jumps circles each time he sees us, his little tail wags constantly. He loves us no matter what. People can learn alot from these little precious animals. If I had the money, I would have an entire farm of Yorkies! Sorry this was so long... Lisa

Aaawww I love your story! I'm with you....I'd like to have a farm of Yorkies too. I had a min pin but I had to give him away because he was aggresive, not to me but he would bite my son. I gave him to a older couple that had no children. It tore me into pieces when I made that decision and I cried for weeks and no one could understand why. Everytime I talk about it to this day it brings tears to my eyes. I loved him no matter what but I think it was the best thing I did for him. They are like your children! Every morning when I have to walk out the door and hear my babies cry I feel like I want to cry too. I wish I could stay home with them. | |

What a sweet story! That is so adorable, your babies just won him over! I think yorkies are the trick! I was never an animal lover either, never had a pet, didn't want one, thought they were dirty and then I met Simon! That was all I needed Now I want a million (haha)
