One weekend we babysat a beagle at our house, and when our friend came and picked it up, my son sat in the driveway crying for the dog. So I told him he could have a dog for his 9th birthday, but that it would have to be a small dog. We did all kinds of research, and the Toy Yorkie seemed like the best best to me. We went to a breeder I found and I let John pick out the puppy he wanted. Literally, from the second that baby got in our car I was hooked. I cannot believe how much I love this precious little animal. He is just like a baby to me. I can't imagine life without him.
Having Minoot has taught me a huge lesson. Love no matter what. Our baby jumps circles each time he sees us, his little tail wags constantly. He loves us no matter what. People can learn alot from these little precious animals. If I had the money, I would have an entire farm of Yorkies!
Sorry this was so long...
Lisa | Aaawww I love your story! I'm with you....I'd like to have a farm of Yorkies too. I had a min pin but I had to give him away because he was aggresive, not to me but he would bite my son. I gave him to a older couple that had no children. It tore me into pieces when I made that decision and I cried for weeks and no one could understand why. Everytime I talk about it to this day it brings tears to my eyes. I loved him no matter what but I think it was the best thing I did for him. They are like your children! Every morning when I have to walk out the door and hear my babies cry I feel like I want to cry too. I wish I could stay home with them. |
