| ![]() Oh, the eye booger problem. Pippa has them bad, Scout-hardly at all. I clean Pippa's eyes every day with contact solution and a cotton ball and use eye envy once a week after baths. I never thought about asking the vet if there could be something going on that could be treated..but I will next time we go!

![]() Thanks guys for all the info! Little Roxy has been getting tear stains for a little while now and I think it might be linked to her teething. She is teething so much at the moment that both her ears have fallen again too. Guess I'll just have to keep cleaning her daily and wait for the teeth to come in before hopefully gettting an improvement.

![]() Thank you for posting about using contact solution. I have been dealing with tear stains for months now and was not able to get them out. I just used the solution a few minutes ago and I could not believe all the gunk that came off on the wash towel. Thanks!

![]() Eye Envy is very expensive and not worth the price. I know gals who tried it and it didn't work. The little round jar has a very thick bottom to it, so has only half the amount of powder as it looks. Rip off. I've heard angel's eyes work, but I haven't see the results yet. The contact lens solution may be worth a try before buying any expensive product that may not work.

![]() My little boy's eyes would run like crazy. First thing in the morning his eyes were fine but the more he ran, the more his eyes ran. I took him to the vet and she put dye in his eyes (it was on a little piece of cardboard), then darkened the room and used an ultraviolet light. What was supposed to happen is we were supposed to see a little wet around his nose glow. We did not. The vet thinks his tear ducts are either blocked or just not there. According to her, it is OK, instead of the moisture from his eyes running through the tear ducts and then out his nose, it runs down his face. Now I took him to the vet with this when he was about 3 months old. He is now 8 months old and has very little drainage. I just use a warm face cloth to wipe his eyes. It is a pain because he hates it so it is a fight everyday. I live in a very small town (1,200 people) so my chances of a second or third vet opinion is not an option. If this does not sound right (that he can live with this with NO problem), PLEASE let me know.
