| Should I get another one? I emailed my breeder to tell her how happy we are with Sadie (who is now a year old). I told her that if she breeds Sadie's mom and dad again, let us know. So she proceeds to tell me that she has a 6 month old female that looks a lot like Sadie (has the same dad, different mom) and we could purchase her if we want. She said she is small and too small to breed, so she is looking to sell her as a pet. I wasn't really prepared to get another puppy right now. We have a yellow lab that is 7-1/2 and Sadie who is now a year. We are just now getting to the point of being pretty much housebroken, still have an accident every now and then. But this is almost too good to pass up. My husband said we should do it. The only problem is that I am having surgery next week and won't be able to housebreak the new puppy. Hoping that she will be easier since she is older. But we probably couldn't get her for another month. I guess I am afraid that they won't get along or that my little Sadie will change. She is so sweet. But it would be nice for her to have a playmate. But then I also feel sorry for my yellow lab. She is such a good girl. What do you guys all think? |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | It sounds like it was meant to be. At 6 months she should be pretty well potty trained. I bet Sadie would love a playmate.

| Satch was 10 months old when I got Sammi ,I was afraid at first that I may have made a mistake but honestly, you would think they are litter mates They are so much company for each other and even try to play with the cat.If I had the opportunity you have I would grab that little gal ,she probably has a good start already for being potty trained. It also sounds like your husband would be a big help. Good luck with your surgery,I hope and pray that all goes well for you

| Thanks everyone! I have a feeling that we will be getting this little girl. I asked if she had a name and the breeder said that her granddaughter named her JuJu Bean. I thought that was cute. But she said we could change it. I will talk to my husband when he gets back into town. He wanted to get her even before he saw her picture. The breeder will hold her for me, so I have a feeling we will go ahead with it. Can I love another one as much as I love Sadie? I hope my yellow lab won't mind. Thanks for the well wishes for my surgery. I'm sure it will be fine. Just want to get it overwith already! Thanks all! |
