Wouldn't it be nice to have the old days back when everything could be agreed on verbally with a handshake? I work at a law firm as a word processor and I see various contracts and agreements daily, and it seems like they make them much more complicated than they need to be!!

I'm so glad that Lucky has you because that has given him a chance that he wouldn't otherwise have.

I'm old enough to remember those days. I saw many livestock deals involving 100s of thousands of dollars closed just that way. And in those days, someone who made a deal that turned out to not be a very good deal for them didn't try to weasel out of it - they made good on their deal.

You did not mention if you have been in contact with this woman, you would think that she would be interested to know just how he is doing, I know everyone here has. Why don’t you call her and have a talk about everything that is bothering you, maybe she is waiting for you to call? Maybe she is afraid to ask how he is?
