my boyfriend went buy a fishing scale because we were going on a big fishing trip and i decided to use it to weigh Paris..we weighed her harness hanging from the scale then put her harness on and then weighed her in the harness hanging from the scale...then we just subtracted how much the harness weighed...it's pretty accurate!! lol

Thanks for all the advice I bought a postal scale off ebay yesterday, so I will see how different it is from the baby scale.

I use a fish scale for our pups. I'll weigh myself, then myself + Trixie to get an estimate on her...but will take her to the vet for an *exact.* She goes bezerk and won't sit still for an exact at home.

Ebay has some good scales, I just got a postal scale and I'v already had a baby scale. Got them both from ebay
