| Thank you babyfidget....i'm actually a daddy, and would only do the best for my dog. re-homing him would destroy me, and ultimately the dog. i'm the only one that would put up with his crazy antics...the next person wouldnt be so patient and would probably toss him away right away. |

| Man this is a tough one. Personally as a mother of two. I would be worried also with the aggression. You may need to actually hold the dog and let it sniff the baby and see how it reacts. letting it out of the gate and run freely up to the baby should of course NOT be done. I really hate to say this but if your pup happens to be really aggressive with the baby than you may have to look for an alternative home. It not fair for you to constantly having to worry whether it's going to attack or not and its not fair to the dog that hes locked away in the garage (granted heated and cooled) by himself. Good luck in whatever you decide! |

I have an idea when could be causing some of the behavioral issues. Since your yorkie has had free run of the house for so long and you started confining him when you brought the new baby home, he probably associates the new baby with punishment. Maybe just letting your yorkie be around the baby for a little while each day could help. I cannot image what a hard situation you must be in. But of course you have to consider your child's safety and well being over your dog's. Hopefully somehow you will find a way to make everyone, including your little man (yorkie), a happy part of the family. | |

| 2 hrs a day with the dog,, sorry , not enough tiime... the dog is miserable now. these dogs need loads and loads of attention and since you are not able to do so right now, i would suggest you giving him to a person or family who can tend to his needs.. the dog would be much happier.,. they do sense this this things.. my puppy has NEVER EVER EVER been put in another room at any time by herself, but thats just me |

| Your welcome, Just make the temperature right and change him once a day (wee wee pads), he'll be fine. Oh, yea give him alot of toys and even put a small radio in there and play it when you can't be with him so he will not feel alone.

| If he has all that aggression who's to know how the next person will treat him. I would rather know he is safe then not knowing where he is. Some other person may seem nice at first so you give the dog to them then they see how hard it is then they take him to the pound. What a delima you have, good luck on what you decide.
