I was so surprised they bothered Logan. His breeder lived right on a railroad tracks & thunder never bothered him, but this did. I think it startled him more than anything cause he was sleeping. We would of just let him go except it was sunday night & we had work on Monday & he was so panicked. So I took him into bed with us (he normally sleeps in his playpen). I finally got him to calm down & go to sleep around midnight & then returned him to his pen. On Monday night, since we didn't work on tues., we stayed up & watched t.v. til Midnight & he was much calmer & went to bed like normal. Well last night he was calmer, but still barked. So we brought him to bed with us so we could get at least a little sleep til they finished. I put him back to his bed around midnight & right after I put him down he barked at nothing because he wanted to come sleep with. I told him no way go to sleep & he slept the rest of the night.

That's exactly what I did when mine were babies and they're fine with Storms and fireworks - this Really works !!

I'm happy to say I can't contribute anything to this thread, but I couldn't resist saying I didn't realize how fortunate we are. Yesterday, we had very loud thunderstorms in the afternoon and fireworks last night. LOTS of noise all day. And Bailey hardly ever even took note of the noise. Once or twice she cocked her head a little for a few seconds, and once (when there was a REALLY LOUD thunder clap that sounded like it could have originated right outside our living room) she jumped to her feet - only to quickly lie back down. Wish this were because of something we've done, so I could pass on words or wisdom. But she's been like this from day one (we've had her two months, and she's four months old).
