| ![]() My 7 1/2 month old yorkie was the same way. I bought pup corn and puppy cookies, everything else under the sun and found out his idea of snacks by accident. My four yr old daughter eats dry cereal as a snack and caught her feed him rice krispies and apple jacks. He also like whole grain cinamon toast crunch too. I guess it is cheaper, probably healther and you can it for breakfast too. I did learn a valueable lesson to stop being sucker in by all the overpriced snacks at petsmart. Have a great 4th, melanie |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | ![]() I know I'll probably get screamed at for this but; Ruby wasn't big on treats either, we tried all of them about $50.00 worth of different treats. She would eat one or two, then no more. Someone on YT said it has to be something she really loves for treats to work with obedience commands, even if it is steak, just until she gets the command down, then switch to a healthier treat. Well, guess what worked, cookies. Yes, plain ol' cheap store brand vanilla wafer type cookies. We break them up into very small pieces, she is getting maybe 1/2 cookie when we practice our commands. This lasts long enough to get her to sit 5-6 times. Now, she is sitting for other things though, so I think we can stop the cookies.
