| ![]() This was very interesting. I liked the side by side comparisons. Sissy fits pretty well in everything except her back legs are a little longer than her front, so she has a slight downward slope to her back. But, I know when dogs are shown, their back legs are usually at a slight backward angle and that would flatten her slope right out! I, of course, think she absolutely perfect and the most beautiful puppy I've ever seen!!!

| ![]() Well I am here to say that all my little furbabies are "show dogs". Everyday they "show" me how much they love me, they "show" me how no gate will prevent them from escaping, they "show" me how they can tear up a napkin, paper towel or cardboard box in seconds, they "show" me that they can pee on every piece of furniture on their way out to the deck, they "show" me that at 5:00am they want to go out and have breakfast. so you see, even though mine are not STANDARD they are all "SHOW" dogs. I just wanted to add a little humor to this thread.. ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() Ok I just checked out the standards and mine go from 2 1/2lbs to 7 1/2lbs as adults and so I guess some are and some arent but I really dont care, because I couldnt love them any more than I do, whether they are 2lbs or 20 lbs. I am sure most of you feel the same way. ![]()

| ![]() My dog definitely looks like a Yorkie - there is no doubt about that! But - he certainly does not meet the show standards. 1) Weights 9 pounds (2 pounds too much) 2) Silky (but a little bit wavy) hair 3) Large - but beautiful, very erect ears 4) A little long in the back - but not bad 5) Perhaps a little longer-nosed than some Yorkies - hard to tell because he has all this beautiful hair..... etc. etc. etc. he is the cutest little guy in the world.... and so sweet, and gentle, and playful.
