| I had two different carriers for Cali waay before I got her She goes everywhere with me..shopping at the mall, Walmart, Target, Kroger, movies and half the time nobody knows. When they see her little head poking out, everyone gushes over her. I havent been asked to leave yet..but Im sure my day is coming

Sissy goes with me to PetSmart and the bank. I'm home most of the time so if I'm seriously shopping, I wouldn't want to worry about her being with me.

| Got kicked out Yes...I actually got kicked out! I was running in Lund's grocery and had Chewy up on my shoulder. Ran to the ice cream section and ran to the checkout line not before the manager was quickly walking toward me - yikes! She did say I couldn't have my little pup in there so I handed her my visa and driver's license and said..."Well, then will you purchase this for me since I have to leave?" Surprisingly enough she was more than happy to help. I waited outside the store 50 feet away from the cashier and watched her through the window. She came out seconds later with my card and ice cream. But hey, I wasn't going to leave him in the car...not even if it's for a minute!!! Even if I had to sacrafice my treat - haha.

As to where we go with her - anywhere that we don't already know that law or store management forbid her coming in. Just about everyone loves to see her and fuss over her.

| ha ha ha you wont get in trouble they'll just ask you to leave I'm always like "whatever" and just drop her off at home (NEVER LEAVE A DOG IN A CAR ALONE!!!) we take her almost everywhere (never the grocery store or any other place with food though, because I know that isn't allowed in Cali) We take her shopping but there's certain malls that don't let her in if you go shopping at like a "strip mall" usually all the stores let her in sometimes I just carry her without a bag Macy's lets me! |

| most of the malls here are pet friendly (at least I think it is) so I take Buttercup with me every time I go shopping. I don't really have to hide him. I was afraid of taking him to the mall at first until I saw people bringing their pets (mostly toy dogs). I also take him when I run errands, vacations, business trips and also to my husband's office (he's self-employed). Only place I don't take him are restaraunts and anywhere selling food. |

| Last year we moved about 4 hours away - before we moved though, we would visit every weekend - drive 4 hours in a car every weekend and we took our 3 with us every time! We take them to get gas, go to the local convenience store - Kmart lets us in with them - the local malls do to (there are no restaurants in these malls though). As long as there are 2 people in the car so they are never left alone (we won't even leave them alone long enough to run in to pay for the gas) we take them. Each of them has a car seat and its great! |

| I don't really take Trixie or Kasey many places with me-maybe just back and forth from my mom's house. Trixie gets car sick and would much rather stay home and sleep on my bed. I just kind of go by the rule that if I have to wonder, "Is it OK to take them in here with me?" then it's probably better if I just leave them at home. Plus, my human child really likes running errands with me, so I like to make sure that is time devoted to JUST her. |

| I haven't taken my larger one anywhere in a bag, just on errands where I will be staying in the car with her. With my new smaller dog, I took her to Wal-Mart today. We picked up a few groceries and a couple of other things and it went great. I must admit it is a little more stressful shopping trying to make sure your furbaby doesn't pop her head out! omega |

I brought Rocky into Target, he was in his bag and it was zipped...but he kept whining so I opened the bag a bit for him to stick his head through, and he pushes through and kept trying to come out. We were in the food section, and a few employees walked by and looked at me but they didn't say anything about him, and I did finally get him back in lol. I dont think that wouldve looked to good if I DID let him out right there lol. I take Rocky wherever he's allowed. We've been to the malls, target, menards, and even to the bar (half of the bar is outdoors w/ a big volleyball court and it's pet friendly..I made sure of that before I took him!) If I'm not sure if he's allowed somewhere I'll find out, or if were already there and he's not allowed one of us will wait outside with him.

| I am on another Yorkie site and the owner/manager takes her babies everywhere. Including the grocery store. Well, maybe not restuarants, I don't know if she has tried that. Oh, yes, I just remembered she did do it once. She doesn't usually take the adults to the grocery store but she has a large carry bag and takes all the babies with her. Well, except right now, she has 15 babies. I keep asking her if no one says anything in the grocery store and she doesn't usually answer so I am supposing not. She even gets pictures of the babies out of the bag in the grocery store, you can see the goods on the shelves behind them. I am so amazed by it. I took one baby in a grocery store one time and no one said anything, the next time, same store I was asked to leave. My husband was with me so it wasn't a problem but still! I really don't see a problem if they are in their bags. Even if they poop or pee, it's in the bag, not a problem for the store. It irks me! Sylvia |
