| well... Tootie was originally "Jiminy Cricket" aka Cricket... when I gave him to my daughter he had a note tied to his neck: "hi, I am Jiminy Cricket, can you help me find my mommy?"..... THEN, she decided that he needed to be Teddy Bear.... she called him Bear, me and my other daughter started calling him Tootie Bear, then he became a Tootie.... his reg name is Hartley's Teddy Bear, but he is just Tootie now.. LOL.... he does listen to BEAR when he is being a bad boy! He is such a cutie Pa TOOTIE.... d

| I am so excited! I got my new yorkie baby today and she is soooo cute!!! I knew long before I picked her up that I would name her Lucy, but when I got there and took one look at her, I knew she was not a Lucy. Her name is Lola! All I could think of when I picked her up was the old Barry Manilow (sp?) song: "Copa Cabana". "Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl..." Now Ted E. Bear has a new and immediate best friend! Hubby says he is acting like a giddy schoolboy!

| When my boyfriend & I moved in together we decided to get a dog, because it seemed to be the next step, since we aren't married yet, and I kept saying "I want a little girl yorkie and I wanna name her Lola." so after about a year of living together he called me and said "Im bringing home a little boy yorkie, is that okay?" and by this time I was DYING for a puppy so I said of course. We picked out the name "Finley Calhoun" for him, we loved the name Finley and wanted to represent our southern heritage, so we picked Calhoun. When we went to go pick uo Finley Calhoun, <Who was a gift from an elderly lady, she had purchased it from a groomer two days earlier and just couldnt take care of it like she wanted to> I picked her uo and said "This isn't a Finley this is a LOLA!!!!!" So it really WAS a girl, so we named her Lola and kepy Calhoun as her middle name because it seems to be a unisex name. |

| Okay, Maxx's full name is Houses Mini Maxximillian - when we got him, Austin Powers was real popular with mini me. Maxx was so tiny we though Mini Max! Now Evey (and dont any of you laugh!) I knew her name 2 years before I got her. I love the movie The Mummy and Rachel Weiz's character was Evelyn but that called her Evey for short, so Evey's full name is Houses Princes Evelyn but we call her Evey! Rocco is my baby - He's 9 months old and he was GIVEN to me from a breeder because his back left leg is a birth defect- its backwards and only bends at the joint at his hip. Anyway, he was pitiful when we first got him, he could only walk on his 2 front legs and drug his back legs behind him and we thought he was such a little fighter because that hanicap didn't deter him. We thought about the name Rocky but figured Rocco was a good name and sounded like a fighter's name. He's great by the way and can run like the wind, jump up on the couch, everything a normal dog can do. |

| name My pup, who I get on the 22 of this month, WOOHOO, is named Zizou(ZEE-ZOO), named after the greatest soccer player of my generation, Zinedine Zidane. He is a genius and a great person, so I named my soon to be baby, after him! |

| I bought a load of Google stock at $105 each, and sold them at nearly $400 each. I took the money I made and threw it into the bank, except for what I used to buy and outfit my beloved Google. I named him, because if it weren't for that stock buy, I couldn't have afforded him. (Plus it's a cute name for a doggie.) |

| I went to night school with a woman named Mya and I loved that name and thought if I had another daughter I would name her Mya. Well I did not have another child but I have a fur baby named Mya and everyone says it really suits her. She is "Mya Little Darling of Brampton" My husband loves saying Hiyah Mya. The little guy we are waiting on will be "Squirt" *grin* We named our other dog "Comic" because he was so funny as a puppy.

| Chloe got her name because "C" names were really popular for furbabes in our family. We already had a Chico and I really wanted another Ch name to go along with it. Me and my mom were looking through babynames one night and she said "what about Chloe?" i thought it was adorable so we kept it. My dad used to call the crew "Sneeko and Snowy" (lol he can be a bit of an odd character). Chloes alternate names were: Alu, Licorice, and Baby

| I love all the names everyone has chosen. Wish I would have found this site sooner. We had gone through a dozen names before my husband looked at our living room wall of a painting we have hung. A beautiful painting of sandpipers running on the beach. Noticing how the were scurrying around & their coloring is how we desided on the name, Piper. After the sandpipers in Fl. |
