| Bo's first trip outside LOL I am sure most of you know Bo is paper trained....he does not use the grass to pee or poo and when we take him in the truck with us or anywhere for that matter i carry him to the truck/car he has NEVER been on the ground....well today we went on a picnic and i decided to let him try playing in the grass for the first time being he has completed all his shots....well it was soooooooooo funny because when i put him on the grass he didnt know what it was he was holding up his front paw trying to look around for somewhere he could steo without the grass toutching his paws....he was doing the high step it was so cute....but by the time it was all over he was getting couriouse of what the grass was and trying to play.....i just couldnt stand letting him on the ground before he had completed all of his shots....when i took him to the groomer the other day i took a pad for him to pee on and just kinda laughed and said he will have to use the pad to pee on because he has never steped foot on the ground and she just looked at me like i was crazy or something and i just laughed it off and said to her yeah he is very spoiled and to be honest i didnt care what she thought about how i treat my baby because to me thats what he is my baby and always will be lol |

| I know what you're talking about. Mitzi spent most of her life (9 years) in an apartment in a big city and was not used to touch grass at all. When we moved here one year ago we bought a house with a big backyard and lots of lawn. Mitzi still is suspicious of the green stuff that pokes her when she sits down and tickles her belly when she walks. She always looks at me like: Mommy, can I get off that stupid carpet pleeeeeease? But she sure loves the walks on the boardwalk at the river! |

| Hahaha, it definately sounds like he's a spoiled baby! I can just picture him "high-stepping" through the grass, how cute!! You really should post some pictures of him sometime!

| Your post brought back some memories for me. I remember Kacee had only been in the grass one time when I brought her home and she looked like a flea hopping across the yard! It seems so funny to watch them the first few times they are out in it.
