I know what you're talking about. Mitzi spent most of her life (9 years) in an apartment in a big city and was not used to touch grass at all.
When we moved here one year ago we bought a house with a big backyard and lots of lawn. Mitzi still is suspicious of the green stuff that pokes her when she sits down and tickles her belly when she walks. She always looks at me like: Mommy, can I get off that stupid carpet pleeeeeease?
But she sure loves the walks on the boardwalk at the river!
