| ![]() How horrible! Those poor babies!! If you can't rescue them, please let me know. I'm willing to help either find these babies some good homes or take them in myself!

| ![]() I am very sad to say that these poor babies are not healthy at all. The female's (4.5lbs) condition can be reversed as she only has heartworms, not that it's a good thing but overall she has no genetic defects or illnesses. The male (5.8lbs) on the other hand had hip dyplasia, glaucoma, canine hepatitis, and heartworms, hookworms, any worms you can name, he has it. My vet did not recommend me rescuing the male, however I rescued both anyway. My husband has been very supportive and suggest that we give one up because we have a child on the way and it's too much for me to handle. My sister volunteered to take care of the male that we rescued and give him any and all treatments that he need. We think she'll do a good job because she is a vet tech. As for the female, she is on heartguard preventative and has been given several shots and she has never been happier. She runs wildly around my house like she never had the run of the house before. We haven't taken any pictures yet because they both needs to be groomed. Their hair we long and it was matted everywhere, it was bad as to where I cannot comb it out. It has been a very long day for me and I'm exhausted... BTW, she gave me a really good deal on these babies. $400 for both. Why not take the chance and see what differences we can make? | ![]() Amazing- I'm so glad you found them. I'm sad for that "breeder" though... she knew they were probably unhealthy and didn't think twice about the dogs wellbeing... I'm so glad you found them!!! ![]() ![]()

| ![]() God bless you! Those dear babies are so fortunate that they crossed your path! I haven't dealt with rescue dogs before, but I'm sure you're going to be the recipient of all the "puppy love" you can ever handle. |

| ![]() The registry you mention is used almost exclusively by CBers and Millers. There is a special place in heaven for caring persons like you who take the d You did a good thing.own-trodden and raise them up. There is a special place in He!! for cold-hearted, unloving things like her...Thank you for listening to your heart and your husbands. You have saved many sickly puppies from being born and placed in the pet stores where a whole new generation will get started.... |

| ![]() I would like to thank everyone for everything. I was just going to turn my back and walk away on those babies. Encouragement from everyone made me realize that these dogs are being treated unfairly and being a breeding machine just because of a person's greed for money. I have a long day tomorrow..groomers, shopping and pictures pictures pictures. Although I do have one question, are heartworms contagious? I'm afraid that Buttercup might get it. THe male we rescued today is named Taz for tazmanian devil. DOn't ask me why, he belongs to my sister now. And I'm still thinking of a name for my new baby girl. Any suggestions? |

| ![]() You did the most wonderful thing by giving these two little souls a new chance at life...and a happy life! I think they both deserve new names for their new lives. Being as you already have a pup named for a flower, how about Daisy, Rosie, Lily, Lavender, Poppy, Holly, Laurel, Violet, Marigold or...my favorite...Willow? Just a thought ![]() Congrats on your new little loves. I know they'll be so happy in their new homes! |
