Do little Yorkies need special Care

Definitely with my yorkies it does. Jewels was 8 weeks when she weighed12 ounces. All the weight charts had her adult weight at 3 lbs. Chachi MY other dog was a lb at 6 weeks and he is 10 lbs now. He outrew the weight charts too

My Tia is a little under 3 lbs full grown. She can jump on and off the couch easily and she can also jump on and off the bed which AMAZES me! But I do have pet steps leading to the couch and bed for both of my babies. They almost never use the pet steps for the couch. But they do use the pet steps going on the bed -- although, usually they jump off on their own.

That is so interesting. Gives me an idea for a new thread- Did you get your Yorkie expecting one thing but once it grew up, it became another?
