| What is your favorite organization/rescue to donate to? I am working on setting up my website so that a percentage of sales goes to a worthy cause. Does anyone have a favorite that they donate to? Could be for a specific breed or for small breeds in general. I have both a yorkie and maltese so I'm going to post this on the maltese site as well to get some ideas too. I really want to investigate the best place to donate. Any information or ideas is much appreciated |

| I've heard some great things about United Yorkie Rescue for Yorkies, which is what the YorkieTalk Fundraising effort is going towards (thread here: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=42389). But that is of course for Yorkies only. That's great you are donating a percentage of sales for a worthy cause! |

| I like WSPA. They do amazing work for every type of animal from bears to domestic pets. They help look after working animals in third world countries. And on an ad that they played here in NZ they had a little face of a very scared and sad looking yorkie which they rescued so that did it for me. http://www.wspa-international.org/. What a great thing you're doing.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | I thought Noah's Wish did a great job during the New Orleans disaster last year. I heard about them here on YT and was impressed with their cause. http://www.noahswish.org/

We donated $500 last year to the Autism Society in our deceased son's name. I donate a little every year, this was the largest amount I had every donated at one time. After he passed away people my husband works with took up a collection and gave us $250 so we matched it. For any of you that don't know our youngest son is high functioning autistic. This is a great cause. But there are so many I don't know how you would choose just one. Good Luck in picking one.

| My favorite organization to donate to is the MSPCA here in Massachusetts, and more specifically, to their Angell Memorial Hospital. Here's the link to their website: http://www.mspca.org/site/pp.asp?c=gtIUK4OSG&b=126332 They do AMAZING work with animals, and their animal hospital is open 24/7 for emergency and critical care, treating the whole spectrum of different animals. They do everything at this hospital from caring for animals in crises to cardiology to dermatology to oncology... basically, anything with an "ology" on it, lol. They've been taking great care of Frodo since he broke his leg, and the vets are great - they call me back and check-in with me to make sure he's doing well. And as an added bonus, they always remember Frodo - he's a big hit over there Just thought I'd share a great resource for folks in the area and for a cause to donate to!!

| Another Big Heart here on YT Wow...Jodi...you and Shana are on the same thought pattern~ I think its wonderful if you donate like that to an animal rescue society! I know Shana has a special harness she is making special to help with her efforts that a portion of the sales goes to the rescue... I've seen rescue groups raise money by making doggie blankets and beds out of fleece~ All of these are wonderful, wonderful accomplishments. Let us know what your store is doing....I'd love to support your efforts~

| Hubby and I usually donate a couple times a year to the United Yorkie Rescue. They have been great about sending us updates on the yorkies and such.
