I think its wonderful if you donate like that to an animal rescue society! I know Shana has a special harness she is making special to help with her efforts that a portion of the sales goes to the rescue...
I've seen rescue groups raise money by making doggie blankets and beds out of fleece~ All of these are wonderful, wonderful accomplishments.
