| ![]() Aww I am soo sorry she is still really cute but I can only imagine how upset you were and how she feels. If you get her some cute little outfits I think that will help her confidence go back up!! She won't be soo hot with them on now. I am sorry but she is still adorable. ![]()

| ![]() I've been there myself. Jolene had a horrible cut last January where she was buzzed just like your baby. Finally, now she is about 4 inches long all over, with her head a bit longer. I know how you feel. It will grow back and she is certainly a beauty!!

| ![]() I think she looks beautiful. You are very lucky to have a healthy little girl regardless of what her hair looks like. It will grow back in no time and she will stay so much cooler for the summer. |

| ![]() Well ladies , I am a groomer and I do not want in any way to defend this groomer as the cut is appalling!! but never ask for a puppy cut as the term means many different things to every groomer. Puppy cut means any length from shaved to three of four inches long. It is a generic term. You all will be a lot happier when you learn to ask for what you want and you pick a groomer that can groom!!! If you can, watch your groomer work, find out if she can hand scissor a dog, watch how she treats other peoples dogs. It takes a bit of talent to trim a yorkie and make it look great, hand scissoring is a must with the silk coats. The head should be in proportion to the body, cute and round to make it look like a puppy with what ever length you wish to ask for. But if you just say puppy cut, remember you can get any length the groomer whishes to put on your dog. This hair cut took all of 15 minutes and even though the dog looks sweet it is an terrible hair cut!!! There is no excuse for sending out any dog like this.... learn to give good directions to your groomer.... I would like the body coat to be about two inches long and the legs about the same, I would like the head to be round and nicely scissored and the ears tipped just at the end. Take in some notes if you must or even a good picture. Then be sure you discuss ever point with your groomer before you hand over the dog. Do not give your dog to any one but the groomer that is going to groom your dog, as things are lost in translation. And when it is all done you will be happy if you have picked a good groomer and you can give good directions!!! | ![]() Thanks for the advice, I've learned my lesson. Next time I'll bring in a photo of what I want. Does anyone have any good photos to share so this NEVER happens to anyone else?

| ![]() I think she looks cute! I don't know why everyone gets so upset about the way their little Yorkies are groomed. Honestly, how many times have we had our own hair cut and not been happy with it!!!!! For sure - different people like different Yorkies cut different ways. I guess "beauty really is in the eye of the beholder." Hair grows - and if her body cut is too short - the next time you go in - ask that it be left longer. "She won't look in the mirror at herself!!!" I really doubt our little dogs are as vain about their haircuts as we are. I do know that my sister's little poodle always hid for two days after it went to the groomer. It did look darling and had the "perfect cut," but we think she just felt "naked" for a day or two. Then, she soon became her old self again. AGAIN - your puppy is darling! A little too-short cut just makes your visit to the groomer last longer. Carol Jean |

| ![]() Brownie seems better now, jumping, eating and playing. I think she likes the clothes because she seems like her old self now. I think it's because she doesn't look naked anymore ![]() Thanks to all for words of condolences.
