| ![]() 1st question: my pup can't sleep on doggie bed or tshirt, blanket nothing. Why? because he tries to eat it!!! i have tried bitter apple and natures miracle spray. NM works a little better on hard surfaced stuff and sometime on his x pen but on the bedding or anything soft it does nothing to keep him from trying to eat his bedding. So i took everything soft out except toys and he sleeps on the hard pen floor.i think this is why he trys to sit and sleep on the wee wee pad..its softer. Any suggestions? will he grow out of this habit? 2nd question: why do they say that the pups/dogs shouldnt see u cleaning up their messes? this is hard for me to do...so i was wondering why it is suggested not to let them see u do this. and does it mean he is not supposed to see me remove and change his wee wee pad?!?!?? thanks! ![]() ![]() P.S. I bought the Comfort Zone Pheremone diffuser and today was the 1st full day..will keep you guys posted don't want to get too excited but it may be working..no barking today just a little whining....fingers crossed. ![]() new pics of Kenyon....

| ![]() I had a really hard time with Ahia eating the sheets on the bed... really eating them!. someone on here suggested putting some cheap deodorant on it ..... it works. I keep a small solid stick deodorant on the night stand. All I have to do when she starts chewing on something is pop the cap off and she stops immidately. She doesn't like the smell or the taste. and your second question.. ![]()

| ![]() no... not at all. it must be really nasty tasting because no all she has to do is smell it or hear me pop the cap off. she don't lick it. or chew.

| ![]() Does your pup have some hard things to chew? Bully sticks, pork ears, etc? They need to chew a lot for teething. Kongs are good too and other hard toys. I would give him a basket/bed to sleep in. Maybe a plastic one with a cushion or sheepskin. If he chews it,well, it's his. He can still sleep in it even if chewed round the edges. I have never heard that they shouldn't see you clean up their mess.Don't believe everything you hear.lol! Does he get plenty of playtime, walks etc? Then he should settle a bit with something he is allowed to chew. Puppy school is also good for early training. The diffuser sounds good.Keep us posted about it. Hope this helps-enjoy your puppy. :-)

| ![]() yes he has chew toys...i am going to look into the bully sticks though..sounds like he may really like them. i have given up on bedding for the time being...its just not going to be an option while he is in this phase. i tried the stick deodorant ..didnt phase him....idenise..i sent u a pm but i do now realize u said stick and not spray. i think his desire to chew over rules any discomfort he may feel.... ![]()

| ![]() just and idea here. I bought Ahia those chicken flavored "chew-eze" from walmart.( I believe it is a blue box) she would rather chew on those than anything. Tressie and Archie love them too. might try those. they are about $4. a box. Ahia actually got hooked on them and i had to take them away from her for a while.
