| these puppies look soooo sad! How can a person live with themselves doing such a horrible thing? I guess the buck speaks louder then the little puppies cries! makes me sick!

| In no way am I condoning what Jeff Dane does on his site. I personally bought my baby Jaxon from him and honestly the transaction could not have gone any smoother. I didn't join YT until a few months after buying Jaxon, otherwise I may have not considered him. Jaxon came to use perfectly healthy, well socialized and has turned out to be a wonderful little guy. We were amazed at how quickly he adapted and what a great personality he had. I spoke with Jeff many times and exchanged numerous emails. Often he had 'cookie cutter' type responses, but overall I learned what I needed to know. I'm sure others here have also bought puppies from Jeff Dane before really knowing more about him and reading the numerous negative posts about him on YT. If we decide to get another Yorkie, I can assure you it wouldn't be from him, but again, my experience was 100% positive.

| LoL at the aerial shot. How did wanting a pic of where the pups are raised turn into a pic HIGH up in the air. That just cracks me up. I think it is obvious he is avoiding the question.

| In response to the issue of meta tags. Most of the major search engines have either been penalizing a site for this type of spam or just ignoring the keywords tag completely. This guy obviously has no idea how to optimize a web site - which is a good thing in my opinion. I don't believe anybody can properly take good care of that many dogs. At one time I did have 3 dogs, and they were a lot of work. I do work from home most of the time, so I do have more time than many people, but I can't imagine giving that many dogs the attention they need. Now I have two dogs. One yorkie and a pomeranian mix. They are my only kids, and it still is a lot of work. |

| Half monkey, half yorkie--SNORT!!! That is a good description of those poor, homely, inexplicably raccoon-masked little puppies. Quote:
So like you say, it doesn't justify the way that these dogs are being bred and raised, but I'm so happy for you that in YOUR case you haven't had to have the regrets that I've heard from others. Jaxon is a TERRIFIC looking yorkie, and congratulations on getting to add such a healthy and happy boy to your life!!!

| For someone who is really good at searching on the internet, there is I BELIEVE, a site of complaints about this breeder. I have never dealt with him except for years ago asking what guidelines he used to call a Yorkie a T-cup since the breed standard is only one weight and size. I surely got my come-uppance about ignorant people writing stupid questions and he didn't have to answer such nonsense. That is not word-for-word but the gist of the message.. |

I bought Baby in a petstore...but I know the truth about petstores now! PS. I'm not saying either of our furbaby purchases were mistakes, cuz I'm sure we wouldn't trade them for the world...but I'm sure you know what I mean.

| That's the thing....as has been pointed out, he DOES seem to know about yorkies, and there is actually some good care info, etc., on his site. On some level I do think that they enjoy yorkies, and that's how they started breeding them...but somewhere along the line, the lure of $$$ was too great, and that's when they started breeding for the super tinies, and brokering poor quality "yorkies" to uninformed buyers. [please note: that is ENTIRELY just my speculation at work. The above is not based on anything I know for a fact, or have even heard as a rumor. I'm just trying to figure out how someone gets to that point. How he LIVES with himself....that's another mystery entirely.]
