Half monkey, half yorkie--SNORT!!! That is a good description of those poor, homely, inexplicably raccoon-masked little puppies.

We were amazed at how quickly he adapted and what a great personality he had. I spoke with Jeff many times and exchanged numerous emails. Often he had 'cookie cutter' type responses, but overall I learned what I needed to know.
I'm sure others here have also bought puppies from Jeff Dane before really knowing more about him and reading the numerous negative posts about him on YT. If we decide to get another Yorkie, I can assure you it wouldn't be from him, but again, my experience was 100% positive. |
There has been at least one other poster here who got her dog from him, and she sd. that her experience was also positive. But I have to say, I think sometimes animals, like children, have very resilient spirits, and can come out of really horrible situations ready to play and love. I know that I recently adopted a yorkie out of a highly UNideal environment, and without going into details, let's just say that I was VERY worried about her resulting personality and socialization. I've been so pleasantly surprised at what a terrific, loving, well-adjusted little doll baby she is.
So like you say, it doesn't justify the way that these dogs are being bred and raised, but I'm so happy for you that in YOUR case you haven't had to have the regrets that I've heard from others. Jaxon is a TERRIFIC looking yorkie, and congratulations on getting to add such a healthy and happy boy to your life!!!
