YorkieTalk Newbie! | 4 days of diarrhea my chloe never had diarrhea for this long. she is 5 years old, i am going to take her to the doctor today. i am tring to remember what it could have caused this. three thing come to my mind, a friend of my husband brought crawfish and shrimp and cook us a meal, or when i was cleaning the cleaning products did something, or from our walks, when i walk her i pull her away fro grass, but my husband walk her the day before diarrhea started, it started saturday, and today its wednesday could it be wormsi am bringing in her stools i can't tell if there are warms need help |

| I noticed when Peanut eats grass he will have Diarrhea for days.Last time it lasted for three days.Took him to vet -took a stool sample-no worms.Gave Medicine -after 24hours - he didnt have the diarrhea. Im sure after he gets the medicine for his diarrhea he will be fine.

| I think there is a virus going around. 2 of my Mom's dogs got it, then 2 of mine, and my mother-in-law has a couple that have it. Starts with vomiting a couple of times and then the runs. It could be so many different things that cause it. The vet is a safe bet. I have been able to treat mine at home but knew I'd take them if they needed to go. All of the ones that got sick that I mentioned acted perfectly fine other than throwing up and getting the runs. Active, energetic and loving. Hope yours is well VERY soon! Please let us know. |
