| Yorkies are like potato chips! Ok...I hear this alot. "It's like potato chips...you can't have just one!" We just got our 1st puppy 2 wks ago. With a husband, 2 teenagers,1 cat, 3 birds, & 2 part-time jobs, I think one is my limit. But if I could.... Now with Hurricane season 2 days away, I'm already thinking of all the extras that we'll need to pack. G |

| They are like potato chips, I have four yorkies and a 16 year old chow-mix. When we left for Rita, we spent 48 hours in our cars and my furbabies were little troopers. After Rita I got Sprout, he's a good car rider he came from Ok. I still have a blue tarp on my roof. Good luck with the Hurricane season.

| I live 15 miles SW of New Orleans. We have mandatory evacuations every year since we are sandwiched in between Ms. River & Lake Pontchatrain. But last year was the 1st time we have ever left. Good thing we did! We were gone 9 days & then only my husband & I came back to get things straighten out. My family & friends had flooding so we had a house full. There were people sleeping in the bedrooms, offices, & living room. So, looking around, we were lucky. We didn't get flood water, only wind damage & rain. We can only hope it will be 30 or so more years before we get another BIG ONE! |
