| I have a very healthy happy sweet baby from a mall pet shop. I did not know anything about puppy mills... To be honest I am not sure I would'nt buy another dog from a pet store if I knew it was healthy. Those poor babies need a home... I have spoken with the owner of the store... I am told he hand picks the pups and makes sure they come from breeders...i have no idea what is true... He could be lying... and what kind of breeder sells to a pet store any way? I know. But on the other hand I have heard lots of stories where people by a puppy through a good breeder and find out their puppy is sick...or they were lied to in some way. many breeders are not as great as the buyer first thought. i think a yorkie is a yorkie... They are all cute, they all need homes and until the puppy mills are closed these dogs will suffer... but should the puppies suffer and live in a pet shop cage because of all this? No I don't think so...My dog is healthy, he is hand friendly, sleeps through the night, is potty trained since he was 4 months old. He is a wonderful loving part of my family and i wouldn't trade him for anything. There are pet shops where you can get a heathy baby.... __________________
